About Me: My name is Shirley, a mom entrepreneur and a work at home blogger, the owner of Mommygo.biz website. A typical day of me, obsessive blogging and content creation, replaying emails and calls to help people. I has been interested in online blogging since 2008, I was pregnant at that time, only studied 1 hour daily to learn setting up a wordpress website.
In year 2010 when my son was almost 1 years old, Mommygo.biz was born. I wrote posts in my part time about my interests, new stuff I learned such as taking care of little baby, I also posted what I learned to build a WordPress website and some other internet knowledges, skills and tools, whatever I put into my Mommygo.biz website. In 2011, Mommygo website got traffic, and someone wanted to buy from me at $3500U.S. I did not sell it, because it's my first website set up by myself, I put all my love in it, Mommygo is just like my first baby. Very unfortunately, Mommygo.biz got a hack in the end of 2011. I lost all my articles. Then I have to rebuild it again. Today's Mommygo.biz website is in its new face. I use it for my personal parenting blog, I am very proud of being a mother, and happy to share how I learned to be a parent.
What I learned from the internet in those 4 years ?
I has full of passion in the Internet industry, a housewife became a half tech woman, WP, ftp client, html, css, SEO, email marketing, social media, Gimp, Camtasia, Kompozer, etc.. Not weird for me anymore now. Actually I am very skill on all of them.
But before I was not, I knew nothing about internet. I searched on Google to learn from some free trainings, I read a lots of posts, joined tons of mailling lists, watched lots of free webinar, paid webinar, most of them were hype sales. I got from that they knew the secrets to success online, I did pay about $500 to a guy, what I learned from him, that was very basic WP website setting up, I did learn it by myself in 2009. I gave up to meet gurus, and continued self-studied. The confusing, frustrating and anger of beginners, I experienced all the path of newbie, I got through all of them but it took me 4 years. But you don't have to be the same like me if you find a Right Team. I've also experienced lots of hyped sales, scams, misleading offers in this industry. If you heard someone called gurus said they knew the secrets to make money online, that is BS, don't believe them, there is no secrets to make money online.
